it is possible to run 2 motors on a single VFD but just add 2 O/L protection device for protection of motors against each motor.

But please also check the rating of VFD & both motors.

Beware of motor current withdraw! 2 units 1 HP motor NOT equal 1 unit 2HP motor!

Both motors shall have :

1.same rating
2.connection to same type of mechanical load

Obviously, only one set of parameters will run both motors

Best Regards

Operating more than motor on a single VFD is called muti motor operation . You have to provide separate over load protection to each motor, as the common over load inherently provided in drive cannot adequately provide protection to individual motor.

Hi . Yes no problem to connect 2 or more motors on a single Drives . You have just to dimension the Drives correctly , to put a thermal or magnetic protection for each motor . But take take care about the speed of each motor . this one will depend on the slipping and the load of the motor . With small power no problem but for higger !! Hervé

depends on what the motor are driving i would not connect them together because load will never be the same it all depends on the work but sorry to say the drive will never know what to do because the reverence the emf is giving will confuse the system dont do it regards
