IE4 machine efficiency standard clarification?

There is some confusion regarding super premium IE4 efficiency standard .As per IEC60034-30 it says IE4 machine for 4-pole 50Hz should meet the efficiency of about 94%. This is understood for line-start motors.
But what about Inverter Fed Motors, is it (Motor Eff + Drive Eff) should be 94% to be meet IE4 standards.
The synchronous reluctance motor drive from ABB claims IE4 standards for (motor+drive) package.

I just want to clarify if I am using Variable Speed Drive then I should consider both drive+motor efficiency for IE4 standard mitigation, or there is difference in standards for line start and Inverter fed motor?Because for motors like PM,SRM and Syn-Reluctance motor which are promising candidates for super-premium efficiency need Inverter for their operation.

Please help to get clarity..

Mukeshh

Thanks Gaurang,

As per the presentation for Inverter Fed Motor (Motor+Drive) package efficiency which should be at par with line start motor for IE4. and that is what ABB claims for their syn-Rel motor/drive package.

Yes exactly, it is the (Motor+Drive) package efficiency, that is what I have understood, but honestly I do not have those standards so I would not be able to comment on the actual specifications/norms.
