Variable frequency drives market

How much of a market is there for 950VAC variable frequency drives? Our company has successfully field tested them in several field applications with great success. Is it worth marketing to industry or not?

I have only seen those for mine type environments. I think I would have heard from customers the need for this voltage if it was becoming more prevalent in other areas.

I think that a customer would either stay at 690 or go for a mv drive.

From a motor perspective, cost-effective designs can be broken down according to voltage level.

Up to 1.5 MW - use low ( <= 1000 V)
1.5 - 8.0 MW - use midrange (3000-6900 V)
Above 8.0 MW - use high (>= 10kV)

As Robert indicated above, the 950 Vac ASD is primarily an application-specific configuration, related to the mining industry.

I do not understand how as a mining vfd mfgr you can post such a question? Saminco certainly has a share of this MINING market. If you don't know, who does?

Doesn't have much market in 950VAC. We can see 950VAC very rare.
