I am an Electrical Engineer with 26 years experience in applying variable speed drives. I have extensive experience with Toshiba and ABB VFDs, and have worked with Allen-Bradley, Yaskawa, Baldor, Emerson/Control Techniques, Fuji, Westinghouse/Eaton/Cutler-Hammer, and others. I have worked mostly in low-voltage (460V) drives from 1Hp to 1500Hp, and also Toshiba's medium-voltage product.

Applications have ranged from pumps and fans to conveyors, machine-tools, cranes, test stands, web line, and line-regenerative applications, etc. I have some experience in DC drive applications (blast-hole drills, web lines, etc.)

I really enjoy applying drives to unusual and difficult applications.
